Unexpectedly, the seventh day has passed! Really, the seventh! And it feels like we just arrived yesterday!!!!
It seems that everything and everyone is a bit slower today! You can tell that the previous days have been very intense! This morning, as always, we started with the Top 10, with only three teams in full force! The Romanians conducted a real Romanian energizer, and we learned something new and interesting from their culture! We went to check on our “greenhouse simulation,” and everything is happening and growing rapidly!
The next part of the day is dedicated to taking something tangible home – a booklet for those who are taking their first steps in gardening!! 🙂 This will be great material to use for organizations and their youths! Each country has compiled its most popular vegetable sowing schedules for the whole year! And of course, we can’t do without a list of plants that help each other grow bigger, more beautiful, and healthier in the garden! Before we knew it, it was lunchtime, and after a nourishing and tasty lunch at the restaurant Gulìo, everyone went for a true Italian siesta – a midday nap, to regain some strength and be able to continue with the afternoon activities!
In the afternoon, it seems everyone slept in a bit! In the Top 10 activity, only a few teams showed up – those that could wake up! 😶🌫️ There’s a heated discussion about how quickly the game should start, as every participant who hasn’t arrived gives an advantage to those teams that are fully assembled to earn more points! The energizer is led by the Bulgarians! After lunch, it’s time to train our attention! Who is the one creating movements that everyone follows? Participants who are tired arrive during the energizer and join the dancers!
In the second part of the day, we split into groups to finish the beds in our European Garden here in Fuscaldo! Each team has its own group of plants to plant! The sun’s rays aren’t direct because everything is foggy! There’s a slight sense of a storm in the air, but it doesn’t bother anyone, and everyone plants very amicably – tomatoes, lettuces, peas, onions, etc. A beautiful sign for the project- “Eurogarden”, is being made! Several local residents follow us, supporting us morally from afar.😉
Beautiful pictures and stories are being made on social networks! And of course, a group photo after a job well done is MANDATORY! Before dinner, there’s a little time to reflect, take a shower, and go out to regain energy with food!🍽Dinner delights with exotic Greek cuisine! Everyone really enjoys it, and several rush for second servings!
After dinner, we head to Fuscaldo Marina to take a walk along the sea promenade, dip our feet in the Mediterranean, and just have a great time together at a street party at Primo Re! See you tomorrow with new activities! It’s hard to believe that a week has flown by on the wings of the wind!

Che settima giornata ricca di avvenimenti!
È difficile credere che sia già trascorsa una settimana intera. Questa mattina è iniziata con la consueta attività Top 10, anche se solo tre squadre erano al completo. I rumeni ci hanno deliziato con un vero energizzante, arricchendoci con un assaggio della loro cultura. Controllando la nostra “serra”, siamo stati piacevolmente sorpresi dal rapido sviluppo e progresso dei semi messi a dimora!
Il momento clou della giornata è stato senza dubbio la creazione di opuscoli digitali per i principianti in giardinaggio. Ogni Paese ha contribuito con la propria esperienza, compilando programmi per semine di verdure popolari durante tutto l’anno e elencando piante compagne per una crescita ottimale del giardino. Dopo un pranzo nutriente al ristorante Gulìo, tutti si sono concessi una vera siesta italiana per ricaricarsi in vista del pomeriggio.
Con l’arrivo del pomeriggio, alcuni partecipanti sembravano un po’ più lenti a svegliarsi. Solo poche squadre erano presenti per l’attività Top 10, portando a un dibattito su quando iniziare il gioco per garantire equità. L’energizzante, guidato dai bulgari, si è concentrato sull’allenamento dell’attenzione, attirando i partecipanti stanchi man mano che arrivavano.
Nella seconda parte della giornata, ci siamo divisi in gruppi per completare i solchi nel nostro Giardino Europeo. Nonostante l’imminente tempesta, tutti hanno piantato amichevolmente, contribuendo con pomodori, lattughe, piselli, cipolle e altro ancora. I fuscaldesi ci hanno applaudito da lontano, infondendo un senso di comunità.
Catturando ricordi sui social media e commemorando il nostro duro lavoro con una foto di gruppo, abbiamo poi gustato una deliziosa cena con cucina greca esotica. Successivamente, abbiamo passeggiato lungo il lungomare di Fuscaldo Marina, immergendo i piedi nel Mediterraneo e assorbendo l’atmosfera vivace di una festa in strada al Primo Re. Mentre diciamo addio a un’altra giornata memorabile, attendiamo con impazienza le avventure che ci porterà domani!
