Day 6 – Romanian team 🇹🇩
This morning, we started with an energizer from the Bulgarian team, called "Hi, ha, ho" which tested our speed reaction and the interaction with the people among us , what helped us to be more present and more active for the rest of the whole day .🫵🏻 🫱🏻🙌🏻🫲🏻
As our first activity of the day ,from our program consisted in getting ready the soil for our future plants, that we are gonna plant the next following days. We split the soil in 6 areas that we fermily cleaned , giving it more air for the plants to grow (the soil needs to be softer, so the plants can break their way to the surface without a strugle ) .An another important step that we need to check it on our list , it was to fertilize the soil with organic fertilizer obtained from animal debris and as well with new soil mixted with coconut husk. Every each of one of us took their turn on being part of building another step to create our future international garden .
After all the hard work and sweat under the hot sun, we took a small break for a coffee and a snack in the auditorium cus there would be way much more to do .As soon all of us gathered back, the Greeks prepared for us a small “Treasure hunt ” with clues consisted in finding the name of the seeds that we presented the day before , all spreaded along the building .Times just flies by and we got a winner team who finished all the clues from the list , just in time for lunch .
At lunch, we received an invitation from the great master "del Maestro ANTONIO DI BIANCO" - namely Zio Tonino, where he presented us The Easter Nativity scene, unlike the nativity scene that is set up at Christmas, what shows the life of Jesus from the period of birth to death and resurrection. 🛐 The Nativity of the Passion was widely distributed between 1400 and 1600, throughout Italy and Europe (France, Switzerland, Spain, England, Germany and Poland).🗺️
Now that we had some free time and rest , we get back to our purpose and head our way to the “Belvedere Pietro de Seta” where we found lots of flower pots, that were missing plants from this beautiful view . Maria instructed us how to plant the new flowers in the pots with some new soil with fertiliser and water . We separated in 11 groups to be more productive and increase our team spirit ,what made our job way much easier and finished it in pretty short time. We took some pictures, sang all allong couple of songs to get even in a better mood and set the pots back to their place , but this time full of life and color.🪴🌸🌼-
We haded back to our place ,ate some dinner ,and we were preparing for the most expected part of the night , because tonight is Greek and Spain turn for an intercultural night.
The Greek team was the first to start , and they did by presenting their country with a funny video where we could learn more about “What is Greece?” what made us laugh. After a good portion of laughter , we played a Kahoot where, of course, we learn some new things , examples as “How many islands Greece does it have (6000 by the way) or what’s the surname of the past dictator of Greece. (Georgios Papadopoulos).
As soon the game ended , the Greek team introduced us into their world of tradition and culture by singing us 3 songs accompained by Nikoleta with a guitar, offering us an amazing concert . As second part of traditions the showed us couple of their undistinguished dances , bringing us to the end of the presentation of the Greece .
The stage now belongs to the Spanish team, starting with a different aproach of the presentation of their country . As soon that they finished the presentation, their interacted with us by playing a general knowledge game about Spain obviously. The Italian juniors team were the ones who took the win this time , winning a small flag decoration tied up by their wrist.
The time passed by way too quickly ( because we had so much fun) and that bringed us to our favorite part of the night , trying the international treats and drinks , we tasted some greek coffee and their specific sweets (like halva ). On the other side we meet the Spanish team with lots of meat, cheese and their popular sangria. They were soooooo gooooddd.
The night was one full of dance, laughing and amazing time and we are looking forward for the next ones.The Romanian team 🇹🇩

Questa mattina abbiamo iniziato con un energizzante del team bulgaro, chiamato “Hi, ha, ho”, che ha testato la nostra reazione e l’interazione con le persone intorno a noi, aiutandoci ad essere più presenti e attivi per il resto della giornata. 🫵🏻 🫱🏻🙌🏻🫲🏻
Come prima attività della giornata come da programma, consisteva nel preparare il terreno per le nostre future piante, che metteremo a dimora nei giorni successivi. Abbiamo diviso il terreno in 6 aree che abbiamo pulito accuratamente, dando più aria per far crescere le piante (il terreno deve essere più morbido, così da dare modo alle piante di aprirsi la strada verso la superficie senza difficoltà). Un altro passo importante che dovevamo controllare sulla nostra lista era fertilizzare il terreno con concime organico ottenuto dai residui animali e anche con nuovo terreno mescolato con gusci di cocco. Ognuno di noi ha preso il proprio turno nel contribuire a creare il nostro futuro giardino internazionale.
Dopo tutto il duro lavoro e il sudore sotto il sole cocente, abbiamo fatto una breve pausa per un caffè e uno spuntino nell’auditorium perché c’era ancora molto da fare. Appena ci siamo riuniti tutti, i Greci ci hanno preparato una piccola “Caccia al tesoro” con indizi consistenti nel trovare il nome dei semi che abbiamo presentato il giorno precedente, tutti sparsi lungo l’edificio. Il tempo vola e abbiamo avuto una squadra vincitrice che ha completato tutti gli indizi, giusto in tempo per il pranzo.
A pranzo abbiamo ricevuto un invito dal grande “Maestro ANTONIO DI BIANCO”, alias Zio Tonino, che ci ha presentato il Presepe Pasquale, diversamente dal presepe che viene allestito a Natale, che mostra la vita di Gesù dal periodo della nascita fino alla morte e risurrezione. 🛐 Il Presepe della Passione era ampiamente diffuso tra il 1400 e il 1600, in tutta Italia ed Europa (Francia, Svizzera, Spagna, Inghilterra, Germania e Polonia).🗺️
Ora che avevamo avuto un po’ di tempo libero e riposo, siamo tornati al nostro scopo progettualee ci siamo diretti verso il “Belvedere Pietro de Seta”, dove abbiamo trovato molti vasi a cui mancavano le piante per abbellire questa bellissima vista. Maria ci ha istruito su come piantare i nuovi fiori nei vasi con del nuovo terreno, fertilizzante e acqua. Ci siamo divisi in 11 gruppi per essere più produttivi e aumentare il nostro spirito di squadra, cosa che ha reso il nostro lavoro molto più facile e lo abbiamo finito in tempi piuttosto brevi. Abbiamo fatto qualche foto, abbiamo cantato un paio di canzoni per migliorare ancora di più l’umore e abbiamo rimesso i vasi al loro posto, ma questa volta pieni di vita e colore.🪴🌸🌼-
Siamo tornati al ristprante Gulìo, abbiamo preso parte alla cena e ci siamo preparati per la parte più attesa della serata, perché è stato il turno della Grecia e della Spagna per la serata interculturale.
Il team greco è stato il primo a iniziare, e lo ha fatto presentando il loro Paese con un video divertente dove abbiamo potuto imparare di più su “Cos’è la Grecia?” che ci ha fatto ridere. Dopo una buona dose di risate, abbiamo giocato a Kahoot dove, naturalmente, abbiamo imparato alcune nuove cose, come ad esempio “Quanti isole ha la Grecia (6000 per inciso) o qual è il cognome del passato dittatore della Grecia. (Georgios Papadopoulos). Appena finito il gioco, il team greco ci ha introdotto nel loro mondo di tradizione e cultura cantandoci 3 canzoni accompagnate da Nikoleta alla chitarra, offrendoci un fantastico concerto. Come seconda parte delle tradizioni, ci hanno mostrato un paio delle loro danze distinte, portandoci alla fine della presentazione della Grecia.
è stato il turno poi del team spagnolo, che ha iniziato con un approccio diverso alla presentazione del loro Paese. Appena terminata la presentazione, hanno interagito con noi giocando con attività sulla cultura generale sulla Spagna, ovviamente. Il team italiano junior è stato quello che ha vinto questa volta, aggiudicandosi una piccola decorazione a bandiera legata al polso.
Il tempo è passato troppo in fretta (perché ci siamo divertiti così tanto) e questo ci ha portati alla nostra parte preferita della serata, assaggiare le prelibatezze e le bevande internazionali, abbiamo assaggiato del caffè greco e i loro dolci tipici (come il halva). Dall’altra parte abbiamo incontrato il team spagnolo con tanta carne, formaggio e la loro popolare sangria. Era tutto buonissimoooo !
La serata è stata piena di danza, risate e momenti fantastici e non vediamo l’ora dei prossimi eventi.
